AMHA registered foals per January 14, 2011: 70 h: 33.5" - 85.1 cm
First Knights Bit O Hot Shot is the best producing son of Sooner States Bit O Honey. Hot Shots show career has both been unusual and exceptional: He still holds the record of being the first and only weanling stallion who ever won an AMHA World Grand Championship Junior Stallion. That was in 2004 by a unanimous decision of all the judges. This was followed by a period of 2 years during which his breeder, K.C. Pappas of First Knight Miniatures in Calgary, Canada, did not show Hot Shot.
He returned to the show ring as a Senior Stallion and won 12 World Championship Halter titles. Hot Shot retired from the show circuit when one of his sons, First Knights Redi Or Not, took his place. First Knights Bit O Hot Shot also won the 2007 AMHA World Futuritiy Sire Championship.

First Knights Bit O Hot Shot ranks as number 10 in the AMHA Listing of Overall Futurity Sires.
Moreover First Knights Bit O Hot Shot is the sire and or grandsire of over 10 World Grandchampions and over more than 10 World Champions or World Reserve Champions. His son,
First Knights Lord Of The Ring, not only won an impressive number of Word titles personally, but his get - so far - has won a record number of World titles per head.
First Knight Bit O Hot Shots grandson, JSW Redis Imperial
Showkayce, won the World Supreme Halter title (Champion of Champions) in 2008. Another grandson,
First Knights Billy Idol, ranks number 8 in the AMHA listing of Overall Futurity Sires and he is producing so many world Champions that he is considered a Foundation Sire as well.

The vast majority of First Knights Bit O Hot Shots foal crop has been registered by his breeder K.C. Pappas as First Knight horses with 84.3%. 4.3% of the foals were registered as Imprint miniatures. Imprint is a farm in the area.

It is remarkable that First Knights Bit O Hot Shot has been able to produce so many World Champions, not only because that - this far - he has produced only 70 foals, but also because roughly 90% of his foals originate from a relatively small gene pool from only 2 farms in Canada. Taking these facts into consideration there is no other conclusion that First Knights Bit O Hot Shot - this far - is one of the absolute best, if not the very best, champion producers ever!

First Knights Bit O Hot Shot has 70 foals registered with AMHA of which 40.0% stallions and 41.4% mares. 18.6% of the horses went into the records as geldings. Hot Shot, measuring 33.5" (85.1 cm) produced adult AMHA-registered offspring averaging 32.3" (81.5 cm).

Firtst Knights Bit O Hot Shot produced 11 different colors of the AMHA 80-color range. As a solid sorrel, he produced 53.6% sorrels (either solid or pinto). Of all the colors he threw 76.8% were solid and 18.8% pintos.
