With 26.5” (67.3cm) Komokos Little Husseler was one of the smallest correct miniature stallions who reached stardom as a foundation sire. In 1982, at the time that he produced roughly 34 Komoko-horses he was sold to Hobby Horse Miniature Horse Farm in Virginia for a record of $12,500. For his new owners Husseler was not bred to a large number of mares (see diagram) and after three years he was sold to NFC Miniature Horse Farm for another record of $25,000.
The Erwins used him as a herd-sire (24 AMHA-registrations of NFC-horses by Husseler) besides legends like Hemlock Brooks Egyptian King, Rowdy, Prince Tennnessee Monashee and Lazy N Little Man. In 1993 Husseler was sold again to World of Miniatures. This farm initially was based in Canada. But they relocated to Texas sometime later. Husselers last foals were registered in the AMHA-records in 1994. In the year 2000 Husseler, by then counting 26 years of age, made an appearance at The Miniature Event's Stallion Avenue. However, Husseler never has been shown in competition.
Husseler has 72 foals registered with AMHA of which 33 as stallions, 37 as mares and 2 as geldings. Although initially registered as red dun, he actually was a red roan. The calculated average size of Husselers adult AMHA-registered offspring is 29.8” (75.7 cm). |

Would it be only for the fact that he is the common root for two of the most influential bloodlines in the miniature horse world, the Patton-line and the Little King Supreme-line, Husseler earned his place as a foundation sire. Husseler appears in hundreds of pedigrees as grandsire and further back. A good example in this respect is the pedigree of of another outstanding Foundation Sire, Alvadars Double Destiny |

Little Husseler produced 15 different colors of the AMHA 80-color range. Being a red roan, he produced 76.4% solid colors, 18.1% roans and 4.2% pintos. |
