Roan Ranger can be considered as the best producing son of the
legendary
Gold Melody Boy
. As a young stallion Ranger won a number of Grand and Reserve Championships in Halter. In 1994 Roan Ranger won a AMHA World Top-10 Title Get Of Sire.
As a sire he produced over 15 direct individual World show title winners. Moreover Roan Ranger is an undisputable link in any Gold Melody based breeding program. His daughters have proven to provide outstanding crosses with most other important bloodlines.
Considering the limited number of mares Roan Ranger was bred to, resulting in only 62 foals and the fact that more than 15 of them became individual World show title winners, implies the prepotent power this ultra refined, Arabian-type stallion possessed!
Roan Ranger has 62 foals registered with AMHA of which 40.3% stallions and 56.5% mares. 3.2% of the horses went into the records as geldings. Roan Ranger, measuring 30" (76.2 cm) produced adult AMHA-registered offspring averaging 30.0" (76.2 cm).
His smallest foal measured 28.0" (71.1 cm) upon reaching permanent certification. 5 of his foals measured under 30"(76.2 cm) upon permanent certification. Roan Ranger produced 12 different colors of the AMHA 80-color range. As a red roan, he produced 14.5% roans, 79.0% solid colors and 4.8% pintos
