Shadow Oaks Top Banana excelled in producing both world class driving and halter horses.
Although Top Banana would have made his name anyway, it is fair to say that the expertise of Sami and Dr. Ron Scheuring strongly has contributed to his stardom.

The Scheuring family also produced outstanding crosses between Top Banana daughters and Lucky Four Rebels Regalaire, a Sids Rebel son.
More important for preserving the unique properties of the Top Banana/Paul Bunyan heritage is that Regalaire goes back twice to Top Bananas sire, Shadow Oaks Paul Bunyan in the maternal line. This resulted in World Champions like Samis Sid Savoy.

Another nick is between the Top Banana/Paul Bunyan bloodline and Celebrations Tenessee Legend, an AMHA Top-10 Champion Sire and son of another legend: Prince Tennessee Monashee. This cross produced a number of World Champions amongst which the 2006 AMHA World Champion Single Pleasure Driving, Samis Sax 5th Avenue.
In the same year Top Banana died, but his offspring will continue to highlight his qualities and those of the related bloodlines.
