Sid Rebels refinement and prepotency are a typical example of strong line-breeding in conjunction with an uncompromised selection. When going back only 4 generations in his pedigree, you will meet Gold Melody Boy 5 times. (Twice through Roan Ranger). Moreover Rebel goes back to Merrys Golden Mohawk 3 times within 5 generations. This stallion was a 1959 born Shetland, like Gold Melody Boy, with common ancestors to both Melody Boy and Rowdy, like King Larigo and Silver Crescent, multiple times. Merrys Golden Mohawk also can be considered as heavily line-bred with multiple genetic relations in the 4th and the 5th generation, to Gold Melody Boy and Rowdy.

Sids Rebel seats in the 1st place on the AMHA Top-10 ranking of All Time Futurity Sires.
He also won the following AMHA Get Of sire titles:
1996 AMHA World Top-10 Get of Sire;
1997 AMHA World Reserve Champion Get of Sire;
1998 AMHA World Top-10 Get of Sire;
1999 AMHA World Reserve Champion Get of Sire;
2001 AMHA World Top-10 Get of Sire;
2002 AMHA World Reserve Champion Get of Sire.

Sids Rebels direct offspring collected a huge number of championships, including the following titles;
2 AMHA World Grand Champions;
6 AMHA World Reserve Grand Champions;
21 AMHA World Champions;
18 AMHA World Reserve Champions;
126 AMHA World Top-10 Champions Titles.

Rebels offspring crosses in an outstanding way to Little Kings Black Velvet, the other legendary Foundation Sire of Wade Burns and Jon Woodring at Lucky Four Farms. Wade Burns claims that also crosses with Rowdy offspring provides outstanding horses.

Sids Rebel has been retired from the Lucky Four breeding program after the season in 2003. He found his retirement home at Glenn Oaks Farm in the warm climat of Texas. There he produced 2 more foals in 2009.

Till today the most succeful Sids Rebel son is Lucky Four Rebels Chasin Rainbows. The latter already produced a considerable number of World Champion horses and also goes back to the best of the Bond stallions through his dam. See also the diagram on the page of Bond Sir Galahad.

In total Sids Rebel has 150 foals registered with AMHA of which 36.7% stallions and 50.7% mares. 12.7% of the horses went into the records as geldings. Sids Rebel measuring 31" (78.7 cm) produced adult AMHA-registered offspring averaging 32.0" (81.3 cm). Sids Rebel produced 20 different colors of the AMHA 80-color range. Registered as a solid sorrel, Sids Rebel produced 54.7% solid sorrels and 6.7% solid chestnuts (either solid or pinto). Of all the foals he threw 67.3% were solid colors and 26.0% pinto.
