Early April 2008, 2 months before his 30th birthday, I visited his home at Little King Farm and met him in person: Boones Little Buckeroo. I wanted to experience the special attraction this living legend seems to have.
I can tell you: He is one of a kind, even at 30 years old. I took some pictures, while he was shown to me by Robin Mingione-Eberth, but I decided not to publish them, as the official pictures will do him more justice. The champ of all champions has to be respected.

Boones Little Buckeroo is a maternal grandson of
Gold Melody Boy
. Being a member of this most wanted bloodline in the miniature horse world alone, would have developed a demand for him as a herd sire. However, the fact that he created his own dynasty is due to his unique personality and presence. And most of all: his ability to pass this on to his offspring, generation after generation!

Most of Buckeroo's offspring retains the beautiful head, large eyes, the upright neck, level top line and the "look at me" attitude.  Buckeroo 's get and grand-get won innumerable National Grands, Reserve National Grands, National Champions and Top Ten Awards in halter and performance over the years in AMHA and AMHR Nationals.

Buckeroo and most of his sons have been very successful sires in crosses with Gold Melody, Komokos Little King Supreme and Komokos Little Hussler descendants. Other successful crosses were with FWF Blue Boy- and Rowdy-daughters and daughters of some of the Bond stallions.

There is no question about it: He is the most well-known miniature stallion in the world today.  He holds the unequalled record of winning 3 World Grand Champion Senior Stallion titles and 3 consecutive World Grand Champion Get of Sire titles.
No other World Grand Champion Senior Stallion has produced not only 1, but 2 who are National Grand Champion Senior Stallions! No other World Grand Champion Senior Stallion has grand-sired not only 1, but 5 World Grand Champion Senior Stallions!

Although Buckeroo would have made it big time anyway, it is fair to say that the expertise of Marianne Eberth strongly has contributed to his stardom.

Buckeroo has 345 foals registered with AMHA of which 51.6% stallions and 47.8% mares. 0.6% of the horses went into the records as geldings. Buckeroo measuring 30.5" (77.5 cm) produced adult AMHA-registered offspring averaging 31.6" (80.3 cm).
At the age of 30, Buckeroo still is productive!
Buckeroo produced 28 different colors of the AMHA 80-color range. As a solid buckskin, he produced 81.7%
solid colors (of which 24.1% buckskin) and 7.8% pintos (of which 2.6% buckskin).

The pedigree of a number of our horses go back to Buckeroo
