Sooner States Bit O Honeys sire JJs Little Macho goes back three times to the stallion Chocolatico. His dam is from unknown parentage. Honey was acquired as a weanling by K.C. Pappas of First Knight Miniatures in Calgary, Canada. He stayed on that farm most of his life and build his bloodline of extremly successful miniature horses. Honey won the following titles: 1987 AMHA High Point Junior Stallion, AMHA World Champion Get-Of-Sire, 10 time AMHA World Top-10 etc. More than 10 of his direct descendants have been recorded as World show title winners. His most successful son is First Knights Bit O Hot Shot.
About half of Honeys foal crop has been registered as First Knights Horses. Vermilyea Farms is the second largest breeder with Honey with 16.4%.
Honey has 55 foals registered with AMHA of which 36.4% stallions and 40.0% mares. 23.6% of the horses went into the records as geldings. Honey, measuring 31.5" (80.0 cm) produced adult AMHA-registered offspring averaging 32.0" (81.3 cm). Honey produced 12 different colors of the AMHA 80-color range. As a red roan, he produced 60.0% solid colors, 12.7% read roans and 27.3% pintos. |
